Recreating History

by Going Slowly

The majority of our day was spent in bed, uploading and sorting a month's worth of photos. When we weren't busy with that, we were slowly recreating history, digging ourselves out of a twenty-four journal backlog. We're going to be feeling the effects of this for months to come.

It is a good thing we took lots and lots of notes. Where on Earth did the last three weeks go!?

Our Korean hotel has a great little restaurant on the first floor which features long-lost exotic foods, like vegetables. Best of all, they serve numerous non-mutton based dishes. We had almost forgotten that was even a thing! We're in heaven.

Time to treat ourselves to a nice big dinner.

I'm appreciating the hard work you've been putting into updating your blog posts & photos, even though I/we have to wait a bit between them, as you cope with the terrain of Mongolia!

Thanks Jean! Sadly, unless we get like two weeks of boring in a row, it looks like we're going to be a month behind on journals until the end of the trip. We keep writing, but the interesting days keep coming!

Oh well, not the worst predicament to have :D
