Resting in Zermatt

by Going Slowly

This super friendly French-Canadian couple, Lise and Clarence, took up tandem cycle touring after they retired two years ago. We had lots of fun exchanging stories about our travels! Clarence was especially amused by his worried children. "Can you believe it?" he said, laughing heartily, "Children worried for their parents!" It was so nice to meet you both, and we hope you have a good journey!

Tyler spent most of the day working while I bought groceries, prepared meals, and wandered around taking pictures! Here are a few from today:

Tyler & Tara,

Congrats on making it to Switzerland (and up that little hill to Zermatt)! Summer is almost over here and school is ready to start up again (August 24th). Most of the summer I can say was private lessons for me as every one seemed to disappear to play out in the warm weather. (Go figure).

I am glad to see you guys are doing well! Tyler do you have a paypal account? I am surprised I didn't see any donation buttons on your site so I could toss a couple of bucks into your account to help with those unforeseen 50 franc train tickets ;)

take care, keep practicing!

Dave
