With an actual house-looking object up there on our ridge, and a beautiful wood-fired hot tub to compliment it, life is getting better. With each bit of progress we make, our daily existence gets a little bit easier, a little more comfortable, and a lot more hopeful. Most of the doubts we've had about being able to do this have faded. Things are looking pretty good on this fledgling homestead!
