Live Edge Siding for the Workshop

by Tyler

Ever since I saw Ben Law's cottage, way back in 2011, I've been enamored with the idea of putting live edge siding (also called adirondack or waney edge siding) one one of our buildings. At long last, we have a building where it would make sense to do this: our workshop!

As luck would have it, I didn't have to look far to find someone to mill the boards. Our neighbor Dave recently purchased a Wood Mizer and was more than happy to oblige. We won't be putting on the siding until next year, but here are some photos of us cutting it!

I was hoping to go to this workshop, but I had some urgent work to attend to. I needed to give help with assignments, and I had to go away quickly. Because of that, I missed out on this workshop, and it was sad for me.
